Getting started

Install the .NET 10 Desktop Runtime, run NexusStrap.exe, and it handles the rest: Roblox installs, updates, and the settings open on first run. Your settings live next to the install and survive updates.

Features

The settings window covers integrations (activity tracking, history), bootstrapper behavior (launch options, cleanup), mods (cursors, sounds, fonts), FastFlags, appearance (themes, backgrounds), regions and servers, shortcuts, and channels. The account manager (bottom of the sidebar) handles accounts, friends, profiles, and the game browser.

FastFlags

FastFlags are client settings. The FastFlags page holds the common presets (rendering mode, quality, grass, shadows). Templates at the bottom of that page apply whole configurations at once. The editor (top card) edits every flag by hand with undo support.

If your FPS is stuck at 60, turn on Uncap FPS on the Bootstrapper page, or hit Recommended Performance Boost for the full package.

Performance

Recommended Performance Boost (Bootstrapper page) applies uncapped FPS, threading, network and telemetry flags plus reduced shadows and grass in one click. Process priority is set to Above Normal automatically.

The Stats Overlay toggle shows live CPU and RAM over your game. It only appears while the game window is focused.

Accounts

Add accounts with Quick Sign-In, browser login, or a manual cookie. The Friends tab shows presence with search and filters — click the person icon for a full Profile with a join button. The Game Browser has Continue, Discover, and Favorites rows.

Force Region (Integrations page) pins your joins to servers in one region. It needs a logged-in account, searches a few pages of servers, and falls back to a normal join when nothing matches.

Discord RPC

Turn on activity tracking first — presence depends on it. If your status doesn't show: make sure Discord desktop is running, check the NexusStrap / Player / Studio toggles on the Integrations page, and rejoin the game. Presence reconnects by itself if Discord restarts.

Troubleshooting

Antivirus flags the exe

Launchers get false-flagged for downloading and managing game files. If you downloaded from the official Releases page, it's that. Add an exclusion or build from source — never run copies from re-uploads.

It says I need .NET

Install the .NET 10 Desktop Runtime (x64). The strap doesn't bundle it on purpose, so the download stays small.

Roblox won't launch / stuck connecting

Kill leftover RobloxPlayerBeta processes in Task Manager and try again. If it persists, use the Bootstrapper page cleanup, then reinstall Roblox through the strap.

My in-game settings reset every time

Old versions locked the settings file read-only. Current builds clear that lock automatically on startup. If it still happens, check the Roblox settings folder isn't read-only.

Crash on join / error 773 when teleporting

Turn on the Teleport Fix under the multi-instance section, or disable multi-instance launching if you don't need it.

Force Region finds nothing

It only searches public servers with free slots, a few pages deep. Small games may simply have no server in that region right now, or you may need to log in first. It falls back to a normal join.

Desktop shortcut keeps coming back

Fixed: deleting it now sticks. Re-enable any time from the Shortcuts page.

Overlay doesn't show

Check the Stats Overlay toggle on the Bootstrapper page. It hides whenever the game isn't the focused window, so alt-tabbing hides it by design.
